Open plot turned into a dump yard

Sainikpuri: An empty plot at Sainikpuri has turned into a dump yard. The plot is covered with domestic waste. This has become a serious concern for the locals. The menace of the street dogs has also increased due to their violent fights over the leftover food waste.

Speaking to Hand India, Subhalaxmi I, a local said, "The plot is filled with garbage, sand and leftover food. Many times, these street dogs drag the covers and leave them in front of our houses." "The garbage in this plot can cause many health issues.

We have been complaining about it to the authorities concerned, but no action has been taken till date. There is a park just opposite this plot. Children play here and many people do their walks. The menace of the street dogs has increased a lot," said B N Rao, a resident of the area.
