Preparations for Bathukamma fete inspected

Malkajgiri: Based on the instructions given by MLA Mainampally Hanumantha Rao, local corporator Raju Jithendranath made a visit to the tank and inspected the arrangements being made for Bathukamma celebrations on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, the corporator said that the MLA had specifically instructed him to monitor the arrangements being made at Bharath Nagar tank and told him to ensure that the women do not face any inconvenience during the celebrations.

He said he had inspected the area thoroughly and ensured that the area is clean without any potholes. Horiticulture department officer Sridevi has made necessary arrangements for plantation of 1,000 saplings in the area and volunteers are kept ready for it, he said.TRS leaders Surender Reddy, Srisailam, Mallikarjun, Rajesh, Venkatesh Yadav, Venkatesh Goud and others were present on the occasion.
