Rowdy-sheeter held for causing nuisance

Hyderabad: A rowdy-sheeter in Balkampet area was taken into police custody late on Thursday night for creating nuisance at a bar and also for assaulting police, while he was being taking into custody.

According to the police, on Thursday at 11 pm the police received information that a rowdy sheeter named Ganesh has broken the car glass in front of a bar in Balkampet area.

SR Nagar police immediately reached the spot and on enquiry found that Ganesh had picked up a quarrel with car owner and he broke the car glasses. Ganesh, who was in inebriated state, obstructed the police personnel when he was being taken into custody and also assaulted the police.

The police said that the accused was taken into custody and two cases were registered against him. He would be remanded to judicial custody and stringent action would be taken, police added.
