Sex racket busted, two victims rescued

Boduppal: The sleuths of Special Operation Team (SOT) of Malkajgiri Zone, on recept of credible information on Friday, conducted a raid along with local police on a brothel at Boduppal under the limits of Medipally Police Station and arrested organiser N Sandhya (22), a punter H Ramesh (24) and rescued two victims.

According to the sleuths, the accused and her male companion posed as a couple rented the house and started organising the sex racket business. Mostly she targets independent houses on outskirts and after a few months she vacates the house and shifts to another other area and repeats the criminal activity.

The accused were handed over them to Medipally Police station to take further action on them under Section 370(A) IPC and Section 3, 4 and 5 of PITA Act.
