SFI protests at Kushaiguda depot

ECIL: SFI activists staged dharna at Kushaiguda bus depot in support of TSRTC strike and demanded reopening of educational institutions immediately. The chief minister has to face the fury of public if government did not address the issues of RTC workers.

Padala Shanker, the SFI Medchal-Malkajgiri district vice-president, said, "TSRTC workers have been on strike for the 13 days but the Telangana government is not coming forward to solve their demands and KCR is ruling like a dictator. Even High Court took note of the issue of removal of staff and pendency of last month salaries to RTC employees.''

In addition, it is not advisable to extend the holidays for educational institutions and it would become difficult for students to cope up with syllabus. Students, public, other employees are suffering due to lack of alternative transportation.

SFI district committee members, Mani Khandu, Sai and mandal level leaders Sravani, Aslam, Chandana, Praveen, Akhila, RTC-JAC, CITU, CPI(M), DYFI unions and others participated in the protest.
