Special one-way train announced from Ernakulam to Barauni
Hyderabad: To manage the heavy year-end travel rush, South Central Railway has announced a one-way special train service between Ernakulam Junction and Barauni. Train 06196 will depart from Ernakulam Junction on November 19 at 16:00 hrs and reach Barauni on November 22 at 12:00 hrs, operating a single trip as part of the additional travel arrangements
Railway officials said the decision was taken to accommodate long-distance travellers who often struggle to secure seats during this season.
The train will halt at key stations, including Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Podanur, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Tenali, Vijayawada, Warangal, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Danapur, Patna, Bakhtiyarpur, Barh and Mokama before arriving in Barauni
It will run with AC 3 Tier Economy, Sleeper and General Second Class coaches to cater to a wide range of passengers.
