Special prayers performed for timely rains

Kohir: Special prayers performed for the timely rains and good harvest at Rachannna Swamy temple at Badampet on Monday. Vedic pundits prayed while showering the Lord with 100 pots of water that the state should turn green and people live with happiness and prosperity.

Endowment Officer Shivarudrappa, chairman Kanakaratnam, trustees Shiva Murthy Swamy, Raghupathi Reddy, Jagadeeshwar Swamy, Ramakrishna, temple staff and priests were present.
