Striking RTC staff pay tribute to deceased colleague

Parigi: The protesting RTC workers took out a rally from Kodangal X Roads to bus depot, here on Sunday, and paid tributes to Srinivas Reddy, who sacrificed his life during agitation.

They observed 2-minute silence for him. Later, they organised 'Vanta-Varpu' programme and had lunch in front of the depot. They said extending Dasara holidays is an example of government's inefficiency. They said they would continue the protest until their issues are addressed.
