TS cop who won laurels for India felicitated

Gachibowli: VC Sajjanar, Cyberabad Commissioner of police, on Tuesday appreciated the solo fete achieved by N Bose Kiran, Additional Inspector at Kukatpally traffic police station. Bose Kiran represented India in world police and fire games and bagged two bronze medals.

Bose Kiran secured two bronze medals in singles and doubles event of 35-40 age category. The complete tournament saw the participation of 60 countries which sent a total of 10,000 participants.

Sajjanar appreciated Bose Kiran's dedication to pursue his passion apart from his duties. He also urged the other members in the department to take out time from their schedule for sports which is the secret mantra to keep fit. Later, Bose Kiran thanked the Commissioner to pursue his sportsmanship and everyone in the department who helped him to achieve the fete.

The achievement of Bose Kiran is first of its kind in the history of Telangana state police. Bose Kiran also has the feather in his cap for the successful achievement at World Police and Fire games in 2017 held at Los Angeles, where he had secured two bronze medals.

The appreciation was given to N Bose Kiran in the presence of Cyberabad Crimes DCP Rohini Priyadarshini, Cyberabad Traffic DCP SM Vijay Kumar, Special Branch, Additional Deputy Commissioner Police, Ghouse Mohiuddin, and Manikraj, Additional Deputy Commissioner of police, CAR Headquarters.
