Yashwanth, a resident, said, "The road is slippery and uneven road which cause major accidents. Flying dust, water stagnation and potholes on the roads are making it tough for motorists to drive in poor conditions".

"Residents have been waiting for six long months for good roads in the colony, but ultimately what they got was a layer of wet mix, which sank the day after, we have been demanding for cement roads but now we have to remain content with a wet mix road laid in a hurry," he adds.

They dug roads to provide drinking water connection to the newly constructed houses, had never closed them properly. The authorities have not repaired the roads.

"We are all taxpayers, we deserve these basic amenities from the municipalities," said Chandra Prakash, another resident. The residents are quite angry that repeated assurances even for a small work is taking so many years. The sufferings would double during monsoon period, he added.
