Vidya volunteers stage protest over salary dues

Basheerabad: Vidya volunteers, who have been working in various government schools in the mandal staged protest in front of MEO office, here on Tuesday, demanding payment of their salary dues.

Speaking on the occasion, they said they are facing hardships as salaries of February, March and April in the academic year. Some of them lamented that they are not able to maintain their homes and it has become difficult to get money for travelling expenses. They appealed district officers to address their issue immediately. They submitted a memorandum to the MEO regarding this.
