World Tribal Day celebrations held

Osmania University: World Tribal Day celebrations were held on a grand note here on Friday. Justice Chandra Kumar said governments should strive for protecting the rights of tribals.

He spoke on the greatness of their attire and culture. Education and medical services should reach out to them, he urged. Speakers opined that the Telangana government should declare the day as holiday. Anukuri Murali, Prof Gali Vinod Kumar, Prof Nageshwar, students and others were present.
