DGP greets Octopus SP Radhika

DGP RP Thakur appreciating GR Radhika, SP, Octopus for successfully reaching the summit of Carstenz Pyramid, Papua New Guinea the highest Peak of Oceania continent (Australasia) on March 20

Vijayawada: As part of the Seven Summits Challenge, GR Radhika, SP, Octopus has successfully reached the summit of Carstenz Pyramid, Papua New Guinea, the highest Peak of Oceania continent (Australasia) on March 20 at 10 am.

GR Radhika on Tuesday met Andhra Pradesh DGP RP Thakur at his chambers. The DGP appreciated her efforts and wished her good luck in forthcoming expedition to Mt Denali, Alaska. She had earlier climbed Mt Kosciuzko, the highest peak of Australia.

In mountaineering community, Carstensz Pyramid is treated as the highest peak of Oceania continent (Papua New Guinea Island, New Zealand and Australia together called as Oceania or Australasia). GR Radhika has already climbed the 6 highest peaks of seven summits. Mt Denali is the only peak to be conquered.

She profoundly thanked Andhra Pradesh State Police and the Government of Andhra Pradesh for encouraging and constantly supporting her to complete this endeavour.
