Auto-rickshaw driver stabbed to death in Warangal

Unidentified assailants stabbed an auto-rickshaw driver to death at Mandi Bazar, Sherpura of Warangal on Sunday midnight. The deceased was identified as Raju Kumar, a resident of Desaipeta.

The police rushed to the spot after being alerted by the locals and shifted the body to MGM hospital for autopsy. The police suspected that old rivalry has led to the incident. The auto-rickshaw driver sustained multiple injuries and was dead on the spot. More details are awaited.

In another murder case, a butcher slit the throat of a man suspecting him for having an affair with his wife. The incident reported at Bommakal of Karimnagar district.

The accused, MD Pasha attacked Syed Afzal with a knife when the latter was travelling on a bike. MD Pasha is said to have surrendered before the police after killing.
