Harish Rao peddling lies: Naini Rajender

Warangal: Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy has come down heavily on former minister T Harish Rao, accusing him of peddling a bundle of lies on the Congress Government. Speaking to media persons in Hanumakonda on Sunday, he said that instead of levelling baseless allegations, Harish Rao should behave responsibly.

Naini was referring to Harish Rao’s remarks, “As many as 120 farmers died since the Congress formed the government in Telangana”, in a meeting in Jangaon on Sunday.

“It’s not fair to criticise the Congress Government which is just around 100 days old,” Naini said, advising Harish Rao not to play with sensitive issues. “Harish Rao instigated several students, prompting them to commit suicide during the Telangana agitation. Now, he is trying to create unrest among the farmers,” Naini said, demanding Harish Rao to produce the list of 120 farmers who ended their lives.

“Harish Rao must explain MLC K Kavitha’s role in Telangana Movement,” Naini said.
