Woman dies in bike crash

Tirupati: A woman died and her husband was injured when an unidentified vehicle hit their two-wheeler on Garuda Varadhi flyover close to Srinivasam here on Tuesday. The couple Chandrakala (40) and Nagaraju from Jeevakona Rajiv Gandhi Colony riding a bike to Appalayagunta for darshan the unidentified vehicle hit them.

Chandrakala died on spot and her husband sustained injuries. Police shifted him to the hospital.

East Police registered a case for investigation.
