Woman slits her lover's wife throat over illegal affair in Chennai

Chennai: A woman has attacked his lover's wife, who was an obstruct for their illegal affair. Going into details, Muniyammal belongs to Kodungaiyur in Chennai and Priya of Nungambakkam are good friends. Where Priya often visit Muniyammal's house.

In this context, Priya came in contact with her friend's husband Karthik, which developed into an illegal affair. When Muniyammal came to know about their affair, has confronted Priya and a clash broke out between them. On receiving the warning from his wife, Karthik stopped meeting his girlfriend. With this, Priya decided to murder Muniyammal as she was interfering in her illicit relationship.

While Muniyammal and her husband were waiting for the bus at the Coimbatore bus stand on Friday night, Priya reached there and got into a heated argument. Later attacked and slits her throat with the knife.

In the attack, Muniyammal sustained server injures. The victim was rushed to Kilpakkam government hospital, where her condition said to be out of danger. On receiving the information, the police arrested the accused Priya and sent her to the remand.
