Covid-19 State Tally: These States in India Crossed 10,000 Mark

Telangana and Karnataka are the two new addition to the list of states where Covid-19 cases have crossed the 10,000-mark. Maharashtra continues to struggle with the highest number of coronavirus cases with more than 1 lakh cases while Delhi trails at the second spot.

In the last 24 hours, India witnessed another inexorable rise in Covid-19 cases with nearly 17,000 new cases, taking the national Covid-19 tally to 473,105. While 271,696 patients have recovered from the dangerous contagion across India, the death toll has soared to 14,894.

Here's is the list of affected states in India.

Maharashtra

On Thursday Maharashtra Covid-19 tally soared to 142,900. More than 73,792 people have recovered from coronavirus in the state while 6,739 have died.

Delhi

On Thursday Delhi is the second worst-hit in India with coronavirus cases reaching 70,390. 41,437 people have recovered from Covid-19 in the national capital while 2,365 have surrendered to death.

Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu stands third on the tally with 67,468 coronavirus cases. Tamil Nadu has witnessed eight-hundred and sixty-six coronavirus fatalities while 37,763 have recovered.

Gujarat

On Thursday, the state has seen Covid-19 cases jumped to 28,943. Gujarat state has seen 21,088 patients recover from coronavirus while 1,735 patients passed away.

Uttar Pradesh

The Covid-19 tally in UP has raised to 19,557 whereas the recoveries have touched 12,586. The state's death toll stands at 596.

Rajasthan

Till date, the state has reported 16,009 Covid-19 cases. Covid-19 death toll in Rajasthan is at 375, whereas 12,611 patients have recovered.

West Bengal

In West Bengal, 15,173 people have contracted Covid-19 till date. West Bengal has seen 9,702 patients recover from coronavirus while 591 people surrendered to death.

Madhya Pradesh

More than 12,400 people got infected by coronavirus in Madhya Pradesh till today. While 534 patients passed away and more than 9,000 people have been cured and discharged from the hospitals.

Haryana

In Haryana, nearly 12,100 have been infected by coronavirus while 188 have died. The recovery cases of Covid-19 in the state is 6,925.

Andhra Pradesh

Till date, this southern Indian state has 10,331 Covid-19 cases with 124 succumbing to death. So far more than 4,700 people recover from Covid-19 in the state.

Telangana and Karnataka

Recently Telangana and Karnataka witnessed their Covid-19 tallies crossed 10,000 mark. However, in Telangana 10,444 people are affected by coronavirus and Karnataka's count stands at 10,118.
