Indian Millennials most confident about being better than their bosses: Survey

CHENNAI: A global survey revealed that India's workforce is the most confident worldwide to do a better job than their bosses, indicating a disconnect between the employees and their bosses.

The results were found in Global State of Managers survey by Kronos. It found that almost all (95%) of Indian employees said they could do a better job than their bosses "all of the time" (47%) or "some of the time" (48%).

Worldwide, Indians seemed most confident employees. Seven out of 10 employees said they can do their boss's job better.

Millennial (73%) and Gen-Z (70%) employees were found to be the most confident in their abilities. At 59%, US workers feel the least confident that they could do their boss's job better.

Speaking about the survey, Sumeet Doshi, head of sales — India, Kronos, said. "We Indians are very aspirational and place a high value on becoming managers in our line of work as we spend more time in an organisation, and that aspiration leads to confidence."
