One killed, two injured in road accident

Amethi: One person was killed and two others were injured when the motorcycle they were travelling on was hit by a truck near Munshiganj crossing here, police said on Monday.

Additional Superintendent of Police Dayaram said that the accident took place on Monday morning, when a motorcycle on which three persons were travelling from Musafirkhana to Amethi, was hit by a speeding truck.

Deepu (30) succumbed to his injuries at the community health centre while the two other injured persons are undergoing treatment, Dayaram said.
