PM Modi Expresses Support for Donald Trump’s Gaza Peace Proposal

On Monday, September 29, 2025, US President Donald Trump announced a 20-point PM Modi Gaza peace plan for stability and peace in the region.

In response to the announcement of the Donald Trump Gaza plan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the move, saying the US plan is a very important step towards a long-term solution.

“Welcoming President Donald J. Trump’s announcement of an Action Plan to end the Gaza conflict,” Mr Modi wrote on X on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. “This plan offers a realistic prospect of long-term and sustainable peace, security, and prosperity for the Palestinian and Israeli people and for the wider West Asian region.”

“This is an important day in the search for peace and stability,” he added. “We hope that all parties will unite behind President Trump’s peace initiative and support Modi Trump peace talks to end the conflict and establish peace.”

Leaders Across the Globe Welcome Initiative

Leaders across the globe have welcomed the plan. The Palestinian government stated that it will implement the reforms that the US had asked of it.

The Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Egypt also welcomed the plan on Monday, September 29, 2025.

“We affirm our readiness to work with the United States and the relevant parties to conclude an agreement and to provide for its implementation,” the ministers said in a joint statement.

French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated Donald Trump for his work to Gaza conflict resolution and bring the hostages home. “I expect Israel to engage resolutely on this basis. Hamas has no choice but to immediately release all hostages and adhere to this plan,” the French leader said in a statement on X.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer welcomed the peace plan, saying there is a need for a coordinated effort to bring peace to Gaza.
