Preparations for Uddhav Thackeray's swearing-in ceremony begin

Mumbai: The Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress alliance has managed to win the battle of forming the government in Maharashtra, finally. In a first for the Thackeray family, Uddhav Thackeray is set to take oath as the Chief Minister of the state, as agreed upon by the MLAs in the alliance. Here is the timeline of events that happened since the Supreme Court ordered for a floor test, in a verdict that was pronounced yesterday at 10.30 AM.

♦ In an rare occasion, the swearing-in of members of the 14th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on Wednesday assembled for the session without formation of a government and appointment of chief minister, this morning.

Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray is set to lead the Maharashtra government at the swearing in ceremony to be held at Shivaji Park, tomorrow November 28.
