Happy Sunday student participation on the rise

Rajamahendravaram: More students than in the previous weeks participated in Happy Sunday programme at Pushkar Ghat here on Sunday. The venue was packed with students, as participants from the 5K Run programme also joined for Happy Sunday.

Group dances reflecting national integrity impressed the participants. Students sung songs on Swachh Bharat and Swachh Survekshan, briefing its importance. Corporation Commissioner, V Vijayarama Raju expressed happiness because of the increase in participation every week. “The corporation is facing a tough time to accommodate the applicants every week because of the tremendous response,” he added.
