Spl fortified police stations in tribal areas

Kakinada: Joint Collector A Mallikarjuna has informed that they have been taking necessary measures to establish special fortified police stations in tribal areas in the district. He convened a meeting with the Police, Forest and Revenue officials at his chamber on Saturday evening. 

After giving his nod to identify the necessary land to construct fortified police stations at Yetapaka, Gurthedu, Y Ramavaram and Chinturu villages in the district, the JC informed that each police station would be constructed at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore. He ordered the police officials to take measures for the construction of these stations.

Sub-Collectors Abshikta Kishore, Vinod Kumar, Assistant Collector Anand, District Forest Officer Nandini Salaria, Additional SP Ravi Shankar, Police Housing Corporation DEE G Suresh Babu and DRO Nageswara Rao participated.
