‘Passion for growth drives successful businessmen’

Vijayawada: AP Chamber of Commerce and Industry Federation president and MD of Sravan Shipping Corporation, G Sambasiva Rao has said to be a successful businessman; one should have passion for growth and not expect subsidies and other sops from government and other funding sources.  

He was the chief guest at the Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme organised by the PG Department of Business Management of PB Siddhartha College here on Thursday. Addressing the gathering, he said that all the businessmen should pay taxes which would add to the growth of the country and advised to take insurance to cut down risks. “Every businessman should have a goal, and to achieve the goal one should have strategic planning, commitment and determination.”

He said he owned a warehouse established in Visakhapatnam in 13 lakh square feet area and was encouraging imports and exports that provides employment to thousands of people. Siddhartha Academy dean Rajesh Jampala, the college principal, M Ramesh, Business Management HoD Md Rahaman and students were present.
