Sanitation worker gets Collector’s pat

Kakinada: ‘Work is worship’ they say. It proved right in the case of a sanitation worker at Mandapeta. Bangaru Annamma received a commendation certificate from the Collector Kartikeya Mishra here on Friday, during the Republic Day celebrations.

When Collector Mishra returning to Kakinada from Ravulapalem in the early hours of January 25 (at around 1 am) Annamma was seen sweeping the roads in the Mandapeta Municipality. The Collector noticed Annmma’s dedication to work and specially mentioned her name and presented the certificate of appreciation at the right time and at the right venue.
