Music concertenthrals audience

Eluru: The 26th anniversary celebrations of Mahati Music Academy were held at YMHA hall here. Edara Saraswathi inaugurated the celebrations. Vasudevalayam Trust Board member Kompella Tayaru presided over the inaugural meeting. BSNL retired DE VVV Hanumanhta Rao addressed the meeting as the chief guest. A music concert was performed on the occasion.

The concert enthralled the audience. Lakshmi Padmaja performed the Hindustani music concert which was supported by Yaswhanth (tabla). 

Later, Dr Yanamandra Srinivasa Sarma rendered the Carnatic music concert supported by Veera Siva Prasad on violin. The Music Academy president Challapalli Lakshminarayan and secretary Bhaskaracharyulu supervised the programmes. V Banda acted as moderator to the event. The Music Academy was founded by noted vocalist Challapalli Sita Devi.
