ONGC’s Namma toilets inaugurated

Rajamahendravaram: Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai along with rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary and MLC Adireddy Appa Rao inaugurated Namma toilets at Deluxe Hotel Centre of 25th division here on Wednesday. The toilets were constructed with an amount of Rs 19 lakh donated by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Later, the Mayor said that the ONGC had assured to provide more funds for the construction of toilets as part of its CSR. Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC) is putting in its efforts to maintain sanitation properly and giving priority for cleanliness. The corporation was in the race for Swatchh Sarvekshan. This year also the corporation would secure good rank, the Mayor added. Corporator of 25th division Maturi Ramga Rao, executive engineer Koteswara Rao and others were present.
