Social workers felicitated

Rajamahendravaram: The Philanthropic Society has conducted international pratibha purasakar award function at Hotel Surya here on Sunday evening and felicitated some noted social workers. As many as 13 members were honoured in recognition of their meritorious service to society.

P Suresh, M Isaq Babu (Khammam), Dr G Rambabu (Rajamahendravaram), K Ravi Kumar, A Ramaiah, Y Purna Santhi, I Lakshmi Durga, Y SrinivasaYadav (Hyderbad), Dr M Satayanarayana, Dr G Nama Sivaya  (Kakinada),  Dr YV Sai Kumar (Ananthapur), Dr BSSA Jagadish (Hamsavaram) and K Sudha of Mylavaram were honoured with international pratibha puraskar awards.

Participating in the meeting, MLC Adireddy Appa Rao underlined the need to serve the needy in society. He congratulated Philanthropic Society for honouring social activists and asked the society to continue the same in future also.

Lions Club president Dr Gubbala Rambabu presided over the programme. The society president, Addanki Raja Yonah, Anna Ministries founder I Immanuel, social activist P Suresh, Solafred Swendson (Norvey) and others were present.
