ANU students observe bandh

Guntur: Acharya Nagarjuna University students under the banner of APVJAC ANU observed university bandh on Monday, in response to bandh call given by the Andhra Pradesh Students JAC. The TNSF, YSRCP Students Wing,  NSUI supported the bandh.

The Andhra Pradesh Rastra Vidyarthi JAC president, Rayapati Jagadeesh alleged that MPs hypothecated Pratyeka Hoda at the Centre. He warned that if they failed to mount pressure on the Centre for SCS. YSRCP leader Aadinarayana demanded that the Centre implement all the assurances mentioned in the state bifurcation act and extend financial assistance.

AP VJA ANU district president Nambur Sastry said that ANU was closed and all the HoDs had extended their support for bandh and thanked for extending their support. He warned that if the Centre failed to give SCS, they would intensify their agitation.
They forced closure of Pariksha Bhavan, various departments and bank.
