Former Minister to stage protest in train for special status

Visakhapatnam: Konathala Ramakrishna will embark on a protest programme from January 27 in AP Express. He will stage the protest in the train for about 48 hours demanding railway zone for Visakhapatnam, special financial package to Rayalaseema region, special status for Andhra Pradesh state. 

He will also pitch for allocation of funds to fulfill the promises made to the state, in the coming budget. The protest which will staged in a moving train is said to be the first of its kind in the country's history. During the freedom struggle, father of nation Mahatma Gandhi too staged protest in train for various demands. 

Meanwhile, Konathala's supporters and well-wishers would also join him as part of the protest.
