Voter awareness rally organised

Tirupati: Sub-Collector Nishanth Kumar gave a call to eligible voters to register their names in the electoral list. He participated in the National Voters Day celebrations organised at Srinivasa Auditorium here on Thursday.

Addressing the students, the Sub-Collector said that the new voters can enrol their names by logging into the website of the State Election Commission or through online.

Earlier, Nishanth Kumar has flagged of the voter enrolment awareness rally at the Sub-Collector’s office and the rally concluded at Balaji Colony. In another programme at Sri Venkateswara University (SVU), Rector Prof M Bhaskar said that everybody should take responsibility of enrolling the eligible voters in the list. Earlier, students and staff took out a rally on the varsity premises.
