Expelled TDP Leader Arrested in Guntur

Police arrested expelled TDP leader P Haribabu for attacking a Dalit woman in Guntur district.  

Haribabu was thrown out from Telugu Desam for abusing the woman at Dalit Tejam programme conducted by the party recently.  The victim was also the TDP member. 

Dalit organisations made hue and cry on the incident. Succumbing to the pressure, the party removed Haribabu from the party.
