Pawan lambasts CM for neglecting his native Chittoor district

Chittoor:  Criticising Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for not striving for the development of his native Chittoor district, Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan wondered how he would safeguard the interests of the State. Many of the poll promises made by Naidu in 2014 elections are yet to be fulfilled, the Jana Sena chief pointed out.

Pawan Kalyan received warm welcome from his supporters and fans when he visited the Chittoor city on Tuesday. Before  taking  part in the public meeting  held  at  Gandhi  statue  here, , Pawan visited  Durgamma  Temple  here and offered  prayers to Goddess Gangamma.

Addressing  the meeting,  Pawan Kalyan  regretted  that  Chief Minister  N Chandrababu  Naidu was  neglecting  the interests  of  his  own  district.
Pawan wondered why no compensation was paid to victims when the Chittoor Municipal Corporation had demolished buildings for road expansion. He pointed out that compensation was paid under similar circumstances at Srikalahasti, Vizianagaram and Nandyal towns.

He regretted that Chittoor  Cooperative  Dairy,  Chittoor Sugar Factory and   Renigunta  Sugar  factory located in  the Chief Minister’s  native district  were closed  long back under the TDP rule. Pawan pointed out that victims who lost their structures during the road expansion in Chittoor also representing the ruling TDP had approached him seeking justice. He said Jana Sena would fight to protect their interests.

Over 100 buildings situated along the P H Road in Chittoor were demolished two months ago during the road expansion. Pawan assured justice to victims once the Jana Sena comes to power after the next elections.
