Unauthorized Diesel tanker seized in East Godavari district

Amalapuram:  The Island Polavaram (I Polavaram) police in East Godavari district seized an oil tanker for unauthorized transport of 1,800 liters of diesel on Wednesday evening. 

The diesel was transported from Kakinada to Amalapuram when the police caught the transporters.

The I Polavaram police, during their regular operations at Yedurlaka GMC Balayogi bridge area, found a tanker coming from Kakinada. 

The station house officer, D Sekher Reddy on verification found no valid documents with the tanker crew for the transport of the oil.

The police immediately altered the I Polavaram revenue authorities who in turn took the tanker with diesel into their possession.
