Woman pours boiling oil on hubby in Ongole

Ongole: Unable to bear the torture of husband, a woman poured boiling oil on him while he is asleep. The incident occurred at Naguluppalapadu on Thursday and police arrested the woman on Friday.

According to Naguluppalapadu sub-inspector Vejendla Ajay Babu, Kondamala Sudhakar and Yesamma married long ago and live at Edumudi village. Sudhakar is said to be harassing his wife regularly even though the neighbours try to pacify him.

He was fast asleep after the quarrelling with his wife on Thursday, but Yesamma, who was in the kitchen, brought the boiling oil and poured it on him.

Later, she and the neighbours shifted Sudhakar to RIMS in Ongole. Police registered a case under Sections of 307 and 326 of IPC and took Yesamma into their custody.
