Tearful adieu to girl who was murdered by her father

Vijayawada: Chandarlapadu police confirmed that B Pharmacy student Tondepu Chandrika, 22, was brutally murdered by his father due to love affair and it was not honour killing.

It may be recalled Kotaiah had grievously wounded his daughter with a log after he came to know about the love affair of his daughter, who was frequently talking to her boyfriend over phone.

The villagers of Tota Ravulapadu on Sunday gave tearful farewell to the young girl, who lost her life due to love affair. Chandarlapadu police handed over the body of Chandrika to the family members on Sunday after conducting post-mortem in the government hospital. She completed B Pharmacy in Gudlavalleru college and was staying at home since two years.
