QIS college students form clubs in Ongole to fight Social Evils

Ongole: QIS College of Engineering and Technology secretary and correspondent Nidamanuri Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy and president of the Nidamanuri Educational Society Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao announced that the additional senior civil judge R Sarat Babu participated in the awareness camp for students on the drugs, children trafficking and child marriages, organized by the NSS unit of the college and HELP NGO on Wednesday.

They said that the judge Sarat Babu discussed about the social evils of child marriages, children trafficking and drug peddling and usage and how to eradicate them. 

Inspired by the support of the judge and the NGO, the students formed three clubs viz., anti-drugs club, anti-child trafficking club and anti-child marriages club and signed the pledges to create awareness on the topics in common public.

The QISCET principal Dr Kilari Veeraswamy and NSS director Dr Vasubabu looked after the arrangements for the programme. 

Surya Kalyan Chakravathy and Nageswara Rao appreciated the students for forming the clubs and encouraged them to organise similar programmes.
