Anil Kumble to unveil statue of C K Naidu today

Vijayawada: Former Indian cricket team captain Anil Kumble will unveil the statue of the first Indian cricket team captain C K Naidu in Machilipatnam on Tuesday. 

Sports Minister Kollu Ravindra, in a press release, said that Anil Kumble will take part in the ground- breaking ceremony for the construction of Masula Sports Complex at Gosangam in Machilipatnam at 10 a.m. and later he will unveil the statue of C K Naidu at ZP Centre. 

The Multi-purpose stadium will be constructed at a cost of Rs.8 crore and swimming pool at a cost of Rs.5 crore in the port town. Sports Minister Kollu Ravindra is monitoring the arrangements for the two programmes.
