Plant saplings, students told by Mayor Sunkara Pavani

Kakinada: Mayor Sunkara Pavani underlined the need to maintain cleanliness along with greenery in the schools to maintain healthy environment.

Participating in Swaccha Sarvekshan Grameen-2018, programme held at Mother Teresa Municipal Corporation High School here on Wednesday, she asked the students to inculcate the habit of planting trees and protect environment from school days.

Every student take it as a responsibility and also bring awareness among others also in this regard. She asked the school teachers to motivate the students in maintaining cleanliness and greenery.  

Shcool head master Y Srinivas, urban deputy educational officer V Vani Kumari, corporation health officer Dr YA Kumar and others were present. Later, the mayor distributed notebooks to the students.
