Sailors’ passing out parade conducted

Visakhapatnam: In all, 100 sailors of 92nd Basic Submarine Course (EKM) and 11th Basic Submarine Course (SSK) passed out from the portals of Submarine School at Satavahana after having successfully completed 18 weeks of training here on Thursday. The ceremony comprising an impressive parade reviewed by the chief guest Captain CP Vinod, Commanding Officer INS Satavahana.

The training curriculum included construction, professional and escape training phases. Book prizes and trophies were awarded to the meritorious trainees standing first and second in their respective batches. P Ganga Raju, ME II, was awarded the trophy for 'Best All Round   Sailor'. The Champion Division Trophy was awarded to Shishumar Division.
