Participate in social activities apart for academic education, students told

Vijayawada: City Police Commissioner Ch Tirumala Rao said that all the students should participate in social activities apart for academic education.

He was the chief guest at Nalanda Degree College fresher’s day programme organised at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram on Tuesday.

The commissioner said that employment opportunities were increasing day by day and the students should grab the opportunities and transform themselves as entrepreneurs and become employers.

He said that achieving the goal was not a cake walk and with sincere hard work and positive thinking, they could achieve success.

He said that all the students should set a goal in life and strive to achieve it. 

He said that communication skills play a key role in campus interviews. With the growing technology, the students should upgrade them to get success, said the commissioner.

The college principal, S Anuradha said that parents’ role was key in transforming the future of the students and the students should strive hard to reach their goal and get good reputation to the institution and their parents.
