Temples to be safeguarded with utmost responsibility : MLC Y Babu Rajendra Prasad

Vijayawada: MLC Y Babu Rajendra Prasad said temples should be safeguarded with utmost responsibility.

The MLC participated as the chief guest at the oath taking ceremony of new chairman and executive body of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu temples at Chinna Ogirala near here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the newly-elected members should take the responsibility of safeguarding the old temples.  He said that everyone should have devotion and spiritual thinking which was very important.

The newly elected Lord Shiva temple chairman Maganti Sitaramaswamy, Lord Vishnu temple chairman K Sivarama Krishna Prasad were greeted by the MLC on the occasion.

Vuyyuru Municipal chairman Abdul Khuddus, CDC chairman B Pitchi Reddy, PACS chairman Y Kutumba Rao and others were present.
