2 youth meet watery gravein Krishna river in Amaravati

Guntur: Two youth, who went for a swim in Krishna river in Amaravati, met a watery grave in the river on Saturday. 

Police pressed swimmers into service to trace them.According to police, two youth Marri Venkateswarulu (18) and Perupoina Yesu Dasi (22), residents of Peddintitalli temple in Amaravati, took part in Ganesh idol procession and after immersion of idol, they went for swim in the River Krishna and were drowned in the swirling water as they cannot swim. 

Jesu Das was studying polytechnic in Motadaka Polytechnic College. 

Amaravati police registered a case and took up investigation.
