Kakinada beach resorts ready for tourists

Kakinada:  The  Vakalapudi beach resorts with an estimated cost of Rs 69 crore under Swadesh Darshan is readied to boost development of tourism. It was declared open by District Collector Kartikeya Mishra on Wednesday evening  to mark the World Tourism Day on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that Vakalapudi beach, Hope Island and Eco Tourism have been developed with a cost of Rs 69 crore. As part of this, the Collector said, the Beach Front Project at Vakalapudi in Kakinada Rural was developed with Rs 46 crore with attractions such as musical fountain, water curtain, laser show, glass walk bridge, food court and other amenities.
