9K crore for Health Sector

Srikakulam: The state government is spending Rs 9,000 crore on healthcare sector every year, said principal secretary for health and family welfare, Poonam Malakondaiah. 

Inaugurating implant hearing machine at GEMS hospital near Srikakulam on Saturday, she lauded efforts of GEMS doctors in performing operations using the latest hearing machine. 

After performance of ear operation for a deaf boy, GEMS doctors arranged implant hearing machine, which is incorporated in internal parts of ear.
