Awareness meet on sanitation organised in Kakinada

Kakinada: An awareness meet was organised for women at the corporation community hall near Kothapeta market area in 32nd and 33rd divisions here on Thursday.

Addressing the gathering, Mayor S Pavani asked the women to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings to avert the spread of mosquitoes.

Speaking on the occasion, Municipal Commissioner K Ramesh asked the women to play more active role in maintaining better sanitation in wards. 

The Commissioner asked the women to use only dustbins for throwing of domestic waste.

Corportors of the two divisions R Satyanarayana and G Dura Babu were present.
