Former MP YV Subba Reddy extends support to striking sanitation workers

Ongole: Former MP YV Subba Reddy extended his support to sanitary workers who have been on strike at Lawyer peta, here on Sunday.  

Speaking on the occasion, he said GO 279 should be banned with immediate effect. 

He further said that the state government which ought to support labour, is suppressing the rights of labour. He has condemned the efforts of the government to forcefully implement GO 279 despite labor getting a stay from court. 

Former MP extended his support to protesting workers. Among those present on the occasion were ZRUUC member Vemuri Bujji, K Prabhakar, V Madhava Rao, Somashekar, CPM leader Konda Reddy and others.
