Congress exercise on manifesto preparation
Visakhapatnam: All India Congress Committee (AICC) has prepared plans to conduct high-level consultative sessions with various stakeholders at 160 destinations across the country.
Instead of a few set of leaders in New Delhi, the party wants to involve the experts in various subjects to prepare a people’s manifesto for the next Lok Sabha elections.
AICC chief Rahul Gandhi has decided to discuss 41 topics, which were further grouped into 23 broad groups. The first high-level consultative session was held here on Monday here on the issues related to education, health and employment opportunities.
Former Mumbai University vice-chancellor and ex-member of Rajya Sabha Bhalchandra Mungekar in a press conference here on Monday, announced that education and employability have been the top priority areas in the 2019 poll manifesto.
