Joint Collector A Mallikarjuna consoles road accident victims

Kakinada: East Godavari Joint Collector A Mallikarjuna consoled Monday’s road accident victims admitted to Kakinada Government General Hospital here.

Eight victims sustained injuries on Monday afternoon at Chebrolu  in Gollaprolu mandal when the Tata Magic auto in which they were travelling  had  collided with  a truck. 

Out of the total 16 travelling in the auto, eight victims died on the spot.  The remaining eight who sustained injuries were shifted to KGGH for medical aid.

The injured and deceased, numbering 16, came to Kakinada to attend a house worming function from Visakhapatnam and on their return journey they met with the accident.
